Pastor Troy Davis
Born and raised in Cochran, GA. His grandfather was a pastor and was always called “little preacher man” by the congregation. Troy graduated from Bleckley County High School and Heart of Georgia Tech with a certification as a machinist. He also became an expert welder. He worked at WR Air Force base for ten years before leaving when God called him to full-time ministry. He was in bondage to drugs and alcohol for 27 years. He attended Penfield Addiction Ministries in Union Point, GA in 2014. God literally took Troy from rehab to the pulpit and Celebrate Recovery Ministry was birthed in 2014 which for 5 years was located in Cochran, GA. Troy & Shannon now speak/preach and share their testimony and the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever they are called to serve. Their hearts are burdened for those who feel "hopeless"... Troy currently serves as the Pastor of Christian Friends Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. As he migrated to Hawkinsville Celebrate Recovery began again at Christian Friends! ​
Shannon Davis,CHHC
Our story is a story of the Hope found in Jesus Christ! God brought us together as two broken vessels and changed our lives forever. I am a Pastor’s Wife, Mom of 2 boys (Taylor & Tanner), and Nana to our 5 year old grandson (Kyson). I am a Wellness Advocate and Certified Holistic Health Coach. I love helping people change their lives with what God gave us originally! I have a huge passion for Natural Health that comes from 24 years of personal results along with the results of family, friends, and clients using what the Lord originally gave us. In addition to my degrees/credentials in Medical Technology and Health Information Management, I have pursued training in many natural health modalities. As a Wellness Advocate and Certified Health Coach, my wish is to share a wealth of information about the Healing Power found in God’s love for us through His provisions in hopes that we learn to trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself.
